You Should Always TRY!
Sometimes a lot of time I get lazy.  I choose not to bring my camera with me because I shoot so often and I justify that I don’t want to be the photographer at the party/event/hang sesh.  I just want to be a part of the fun not looking from the sidelines. It’s in those moments I have to give myself an attitude check and remind myself that I love begin a photographer.  Shooting a...

A Reminder of What's Important
It’s been a rough couple of days at the Bryson house.  On Monday night Micah came in to our room at 2pm with a temp of 103.  His heart was racing and he was hallucinating.  At one point he pointed at my sheets and said “look daddy, a giraffe”.  We called the on call nurse and she said we should take him to the E.R. We did and the short version is Micah is all better now. While...

My Taylor Story
I once had, what I would describe as, the Holy Grail of guitars.  It was six years ago and it was a Taylor 414CE and it was the most beautiful piece of equipment I had ever owned.  I had it in my sweet little hands for about 3 weeks and then I had to return it to pay some bills.  That’s how it goes sometimes.  It was one of the things I always wanted so I could pass it down to my kid...

My Daughter is Almost Here
Having children has made me realize how selfish I have been my whole life.  All of a sudden there are little tummy’s who need me to fill them, and little imaginations who want me to play. Okay, I currently only have one kid, but the next one is about to drop and I couldn’t be more excited. God absolutely knew what He was doing when he gave us the ability to reproduce.  He knew that we...

Commuter Bike Royalty
I have been on a hunt for a commuter bike for sometime now.  I need something that I can commute to and from work on as well as tote my kid(s) around on.  It seems like the commuter bike genre is confused at best.  “Commuters” fall under a handful of categories with an array of features and specs.  I’m looking for a bike that’s not too heavy (frshnk is 5.5 miles from my...

You're Only As Good As Your Crew
I’m at a wonderful place in my photography career right now.  I have a great studio in a lively part of town.  I have state of the art equipment and we have a large client list.  Those things are an important part of my success, but none of them come close to being as important as my team.  I have a really, REALLY talented team.  Over the next few days I am going to introduce the three of...

Vend-O-Mag
[gallery link=”file”] There was a time when the thought of getting your DVD rentals from a machine, that sat innocently outside of your favorite burger joint, would have been laughable.  Today it is an everyday practice.  It is so common place that it sent the largest DVD rental company (Blockbuster) into chapter 11. I was thinking about vending machines and how functional they are...
